Bwindi community Hospital is training the next generation of healthcare professionals at African Univeristy of Science and Management , formally, Uganda Nursing School Bwindi and Uganda College of Health Sciences Bwindi.

Uganda Nursing School Bwindi (UNSB) and Uganda College of Health Sciences Bwindi, transitioned to a University, African Univeristy of Science and Management (AUSM) in 2024. AUSM is a Church of Uganda affiliated institution under the diocese of Kinkiizi. AUSM is lincesed to offer both medical, business and humanities-related courses. Together, we will develop professionals who are committed to excellence in the delivery of compassionate, high-quality health care.

Uganda Nursing School Bwindi and Uganda Collge o of Health Sciences Bwindi (UCHSB) were established in 2013 and 2018 respectively by Bwindi Community Hospital to respond to the critical shortage of the human resources for health in Bwindi Area, an area of high disease burden of which most are preventable.

Courses offered include;

Bachelor Programs: Nursing, Midwifery, Environmental Health, Tourism and Travel Management, Hotel and Hospitality Management

Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery

Diploma extension Program in Midwifery and Nursing

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health

Diploma in Public Health Dentistry

Certificate in Nursing/ Midwifery or certificate in Pharmacy

Certificate in Medical Laboratory Techniques
