Scholarships
Elizabeth Nabadda and Jane Anyango
As a progressive Hospital, we continuously strive to improve the skills of our staff in order to maintain a level of healthcare to our community. One way we do this is to regularly provide scholarships to staff who continuously demonstrate high levels of commitment to the Hospital, and who have the potential to create a bigger impact following completion of their courses. Elizabeth heads the Sexual and Reproductive Health Program. She is pursuing a Masters degree in Public Health-Save The Mothers at Uganda Christian University.
BCH in Need of a Pick-up Truck
The area surrounding the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is fertile and mountainous. The bumpy mud roads deman

Many trips are made to the nearest bus stop points in Butogota (17kms) or Kihiihi (40km) to collect drugs, medical equipment and other supplies, including Insecticide-Treated Mosquito Nets to help prevent Malaria.
To ease our procurement activities, a good quality second-hand Pick up would provide us with at least five years worth of service.
Cost: $ 38,000 Total cost
: $16,000 Money Raised
: $22,000 Money needed
If you are able to support the Hospital by contributing towards the purchase of this pick-up, please let us know. Your financial support will go a long way to ensuring quality healthcare in Bwindi.
